Love You... FUSION

Hope you had a chance to join in the fun @ FUSION 2nd Anniversary,
such a fabulous gallery of talent!

This fortnight I was inspired by love! Combining the woodgrain, spotted elements and wreath theme from the super cool FUSION inspiration photo, together with a loose interpretation of the inspiration sketch. I used my super cute spotted Verve heart die cuts to create a wreath of hearts just in time for Valentines. I love that the hearts ended up almost looking like a nordic inspired Christmas snowflake decoration too! Patterned papers are MME spots and Kaisercraft woodgrain, paired with Crate Papers' Open Book chipboard "Love You" sentiment.

Remember to hop along to the website for some more amazing inspiration from the Design Team. As usual, you can play along with FUSION using either this gorgeous FUSION photo inspiration, or this fabulously versatile sketch, or a combination of both.

I would LOVE if you could join in the fun @ FUSION too!

P.S. I would love you to join in to win with 2015 A Few of My Favourite Things too!

A Whole Lotta Happy 2nd Birthday FUSION... (aka Thinking Inside the Oval)

As soon as I saw the fabulous inspiration for the FUSION 2nd Year Celebration, I knew I had to invite my old teamie and birthday twin Kelly Griglione as my guest to join in the fun! I have long been a fan of Kelly's inspiring creations, she always thinks outside the square for her card creations, and is a fabulous photographer and scrapbooker as well!

This fortnight the paper for my card was the first element I decided on, with this fabulous rununcula paper by MME, following the colours and theme of the gorgeous FUSION 2nd Year Celebration inspiration photo. Then for the hard part! After several attempts at die cutting various colours for the Winnie and Walter Happy sentiment, drawing inspiration from the super FUSION sketch I realised I could cut out the Lil Inkers Stitched Oval, then die cut the sentiment from the centre oval, and secure it back in place, made me very happy LOL!

With so many Winnie and Walter Happy sentiments already cut out, I couldn't let these go to waste, so I quickly created another extra Happy card!

Remember to hop along to the website for some more incredible FUSION inspiration from the Design Team and their invited guests! As usual, you can play along with FUSION using either this gorgeous photo inspiration, or this fabulously versatile sketch, or a combination of both.

I would be super Happy if you could join in the FUSION 2nd Birthday celebrations too!

You may notice another aspect of my card making - I tend to size the cards depending on what is needed, rather than cutting the card base first - it can make things difficult finding envelopes though!

Also playing along with Seize the Birthday and CASology Simple.

Something OLD and Something NEW...

Not as much crafting was done last year, so I was a little (OK a lot!) behind with Christmas card creations, so I thought I'd get a head start this year LOL!!! Too easy with the CASology Merry Challenge, Freshly Made Sketches and Jingle Belles Something OLD, Something NEW Challenge. Unfortunately as I had not stamped for a while, my "NEW" is a new ink pad as my old one had dried out! Created using Tara Wakefield's gorgeous deer and bird stamps, paired with Winnie and Walter's Merry and Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle diecuts with Kaisercraft woodgrain paper background.
Rememeber there are still a couple of days to join in with FUSION
before our extra special 2 year anniversary celebration!

P.S. I would love you to join along with my 2015 A Few of My Favourite Things too!

I started 2015 with high hopes for my creative endeavours, however, as usual life had other plans lol! Whilst I may not have created as much this year, I still had a whole lot of fun, and really enjoyed dabbling with Mixed Media, as well as keeping it CAS with cards (links to the original posts are below each creation).

Whatever 2015 held for you, I hope you too can share your favourite creations in the linky below, and hope that 2016 is an AWESOMEly creative year for you!

I'd LOVE you to add a post of your favourite cards and creations you created in 2015. If you get a chance, hop on by and visit the other links, to share the love! The idea is to link to a post of your favourite creations from throughout the year, rather than just one single favourite creation - it's fun to take a collective look back at your 2015 highlights in one place. The linky will be open til January 31st - and there just might be a random prize ;)
